How does the alcohol calculator work?
Enter your details and the drinking period, then choose the drinks, serving sizes and quantities. The calculator updates its estimated blood alcohol level, time to zero and chart.
Time period
Choose times in 15-minute increments. The model spreads drinks evenly across the full period. A period that crosses midnight is treated as one drinking session.
Drink catalogue and serving sizes
Catalogue drinks have default alcohol strengths. Choose a serving size separately: 40, 50, 100, 250 or 500 ml. The listed strength may not match a particular product.
How to read the progress bar
The grey area shows the timeline; the coloured section shows the model’s estimate towards zero. The smiley marks a calculated time, not permission to drive.
