How long does it take to get sober?
AlcoCalc estimates the time to zero model level. It cannot tell when a particular person is actually sober or fit to drive.
Feel and level are different data
How a person feels is not an objective measure of ethanol. The result of the tool, in turn, describes a mathematical model, not individual biological processes.
Why is the result marked as an estimate?
Inputs are spread evenly over the time range. The actual consumption can be concentrated at its beginning or end, and the cocktail percentages vary according to the recipe.
Which means the remaining time
Time is based on absorption and elimination assumptions. Even when the reading reaches zero, it is not confirmation of a true zero level.
